Tuesday Group PAC Policy Forum at the Republican Convention
On September 1st, the Tuesday Group PAC hosted a policy forum at the Republican Convention to discuss the country's energy crisis. The panel consisted of Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, Congressman Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), Congressman Fred Upton (R-Mich.), Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito (R- W.V.), Reihan Salam, Co-Author, “Grand New Party” and Associate Editor at the Atlantic Monthly and Martha Marks, President, Republicans for Environmental Protection. The focus was a comprehensive all the above approach to end our dependence on foreign oil, including the need for more alternative renewable fuels, exploring for off-shore oil and expanding nuclear programs.
